Growind Like a Weed

Sutton is now 6 weeks old.  Time has just flown.  He is such a good sweet baby.  I took him to the clinic and weighed him.  He already weighs 12 & 1/2 pounds. He is changing and growing every day!

Cooking Up Christmas

Chef Cordell & Chef Ayden

The boys were in the Christmas program at East Side Baptist Church.  It was very cute.  Cordell really got into it.  He was really singing and moving.  Ayden just stood there and stirred his bowl, occasionally singing along.  Then when we got in the car, Ayden sang for us!

Have You Seen Santa?

Cordell decided to go hunting instead of talk to Santa.  He thought a letter would be sufficient.  Sutton slept through the whole thing.  So, I guess the only one who actually saw Santa was Ayden.

After our Santa visit, Ayden rode on David Woolam's pony drawn wagon.  Then we watched the parade and drove around to look at Christmas lights.  It was a fun night!

Coming Soon To A Christmas Card Near You

After many pictures, this is the one that made the annual Christmas card.

Priceless

Each year I try to make a Christmas card to send out.  Well this year has been just a bit busier than usual with a new baby.  One afternoon this week everybody was actually home at the same time and had about an hour of free time.  As usual, the boys were not too excited about this, but I threatened and bribed them to just do it for me.  I took about 40 - 60 pictures and finally wound up with one that I think is just pretty fitting for this year.  Here are a few of the attempted pictures.
Matching shirts - about $60
Big Ornaments and boxes for pictures - $16
Everybody home at the same time, together,
looking at the camera, and smiling - Priceless

Smelly

The other day, we were in the car going to get a little bit of shopping done at Wally World.  That morning, Ayden had gotten Blake's deodorant and put some on.  He loves to do this.  Anyways, as we are driving along, Ayden hollers out, "Hey Granny, Do you want to smell my armpits?"  Of course, Granny was not in too big of a hurry to take him up on this offer - little boy with smelly armpits - just a little bit scarey!  I had to explain to her why he wanted her to smell.  I just love the sweet innocence of little children!  They always keep you laughing!!

Cordell's First Deer

Cordell and Lyndell have been avid deer hunters this year.  Cordell bagged this nice 8 point.  Talk about one super excited kiddo!  He is hooked now!

Stock Show

Blake and Thomas showed goats at the local project show.  Blake had a 2nd, 3rd, and 6th place.

Cordell and Ayden showed pigs (thanks to the Mankins) in the Little Britches Show.  They absolutely loved it.  They both want to show pigs now.  Ayden was so intense showing that the judge had a hard time getting him to take the ribbon from him.  He keeps telling me that his pig was the one with the white leg.  There was no way he was going to lose his pig in the ring.

Basketball vs. Eastland

Win 32-17  My camera skills are not quite fast enough to catch this basketball action.  So I will fill in the action with words...He got the tip and made the shot.

Belly Button, Tiny Hands, Itty Bitty Feet...

Little ears, Soft, soft skin, Every part is sweet!

A Cold And Rainy Day Outside

There is nothing better than snuggling up with a warm, cuddly baby on a cold and rainy day.  I am enjoying every minute!  Meanwhile, Ayden is hard at work.
