Summer is coming, and it is already getting hot outside.  The pool temperature is still pretty chilly, but kids are tough!

The Many Adventures of Sutton

I used to say I could write a book entitled, The Adventures of Ayden.  Well, I think Sutton might have him beat.  There is never a dull moment around this kid. 

So here we go...The Adventures of Sutton!

When the house gets quiet, you better look for Mr. Sutton.  I made muffins for breakfast.  Sutton loves muffins!  The house got quiet.  Sutton was sitting on the kitchen cabinet (yes, he is an excellent climber) eating muffins.  You can see, he ate 2 whole muffins and ate the tops off the rest.  Yikes!

Isn't this how everybody eats their pancakes?

We have to lock the doors on the dog kennel and crate.  Sutton loves to play in them!

Puddles, puddles, puddles...Sutton loves puddles!

How do you entertain a 2 year old at a late night baseball game? 

Apple Jacks on his straw of course!

How many B's can you use at one time?  Lol!

Finally Another Female!

It's a girl! 

I am finally not the only female in this house.  We got a new dog, and HER name is Powder.  I think she is going to fit right in.

Donkey Basketball

I have not laughed this hard in a long time.  Blake played donkey basketball.  It was great!

Our sweet little dog, Ryder, disappeared about a week ago.  We are all heartbroken.  He was such a great little dog.

This is behind our door in the bathroom.  It is where we had a water leak, and they had to create an access panel.  This morning Sutton noticed it.  He said, "Momma, get me some crayons.  I need to make a picture!"

Happy Valentine's Day!

This is the only way we could get all the candles lit.  Lol!

Blake did let him help blow them out when it was time.

The Adventures of Sutton

I was cleaning the rat cage and had set the top of the cage on the floor.  I hear Sutton yell, "Mom, Look at me!" 

This is where he was!

This is how he gets into EVERYTHING!

He stands on his little bicycle and pulls himself all around the cabinets to see if he is missing out on anything interesting.

Report Cards

Report cards came out today. 

Ayden got S's which = satisfactory.

He brought his report card to me and said,

"Mom, see all these S's.  They mean SUPER!"

I agree.  He is a pretty super kid!

Cordell and Blake got all A's too!

We sent them back to bed until morning. 

I bet this was the longest night of their lives!

A New Tradition

Family Memories Being Made...

When I was a little girl, we had a gumdrop tree.  I had totally forgotten about it.  The other day someone posted a picture of one on facebook.  As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have one for my kids.  A sweet lady that worked at the bank with my mom brought me one the very next day.  So a new family tradition begins with my kiddos...the gumdrop tree!

Everyone is working hard.

When you see this next picture, you are going to think that Sutton is putting a gumdrop on the tree.

It is actually more likely that he was taking it off.

He ate more gumdrops than he put on!

Never A Dull Moment

Sutton is the biggest monkey of all my kiddos.  He climbs all over the place and gets himself into some crazy situations.

I was working on the computer and looked over to find this.  About that time, there is a knock at the door.  A man was there to work on our garage door, and he needed me to sign the paperwork.  The whole time I was signing it, I could tell he was cutting his eyes over to where my baby was stuffed into the kitchen!  No telling what he thought about us.  Oh well! 

There is never a dull moment at our house!
