A new way to look at the world!  Now if he can just figure out how to get back over.

Easter Fun

On your mark...Get set...Go!!

For the bigger boys, we try to do something a little bit more challenging for their Easter treats.  This year, we had a string maze.  Each boy had a different color of string.  They had to follow and roll up their string.  If their string went over, under, or around something, they had to follow it.  They griped and said they didn't like it, but the rest of us laughed uncontrollably!!

We also had an egg rolling competition.  Sounds easy enough, but then I told them the secret...they must roll it with their nose.  Yes, their nose!  Blake and Thomas cheated.  Thomas immediately busted his egg trying to roll it with his forehead instead of his nose.  Blake also cheated rolling it with the brim of his hat.  Ayden and Cordell took it a bit more seriously.  They both fought hard, but Ayden edged Cordell out by a nose!!! 

When the egg rolling was over, the boys came up with another use for the eggs.  They had a lot of fun throwing them at each other. 

Sutton's First Easter

Everyone's basket was overflowing!!  We had a great Easter!!!!!

Sutton loves his jumperoo.  It is just such hard and tiring work!

Sutton Eating Update:
After the first day of rice cereal, he has never fussed once about his food.  He is going to be like his momma - won't turn down anything to eat!  He now eats rice cereal, peas, green beans, and carrots.  Yum!

I'll try it, but I am not convinced.

Oh, this stuff is terrible.  Are you sure I should be eating this?  I think I will just spit it back out.

Can somebody please help me here?

Now that is what I'm talking about.  Finally some real food!!

We'll try again tomorrow, but I don't think Sutton was a fan of his first food tasting experience!

4 month check up

Sutton had his 4 month check up today.  He now weighs in at 16 pounds 12.5 ounces and is 26 1/4 inches long.  He is in the 75th to 90th percentile.  He had to get some more shots, which he did not like very much. Who does?  He is right on track and doing well!
