Exhausting!

Kindergarten is exhausting!
We were working at school, trying to finish all the end of year scrapbooks.  Sutton was playing and talking.  All of the sudden, he got very quiet.  I looked over there, and the poor baby was sound asleep.  He did not even let go of his rattle.  I had to take a picture, but then I did lay him down on a pallet.

Buggy Boys

Never a dull moment around here!
They always have some sort of creature.
These lovely snails escaped from their house over night.  The next morning, we got to pull little snails off of our entertainment center, dvd player, some books, etc.  The joy of little boys!
I much prefer the ladybugs to the snails.

All A's

Count them...

Yes, that's right, not one - but two All A plaques this year.  Blake has gotten one almost every year since second grade.  (He made an 89 in 8th grade and missed out that year.)  This year Cordell is in second grade, so he had the chance to earn his first plaque.  He was super excited!  Blake is too cool to be that excited.

I am so proud of my boys!!

Feet

I was washing Ayden's filthy little feet after a long day of play.  I asked him, "Ayden, how in the world did your feet get so filthy?"  This was his reply.  "Mom, I've been walking on them for years."

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day with my mom, Lyndell, and my boys.  I am blessed to be the mother of these 4 wonderful boys.  I was blessed with the best mom as a role model for the mom I want to be.  I hope to be just as good a mother as her!

Six Months

My baby is 6 months old.  It is hard to believe that half of a year has passed.  I got to spend the day at home with him, even though it was a school day.  Sadly, it was because he was sick.  Poor, poor baby!  He has the flu.  You can see it in his little eyes.  He does not feel real great.  However, he is still my sweet, joyful little baby.  Bless his little heart!

He likes to play with his feet now.  I think it is so cute when they grab their little toes!

At 6 months, he weighs 18 pounds 4 ounces.  He loves to jump in his jumper.  His favorite toys are his teddy bear mobile and a Little Einsteins lights and music toy.  He says momma, or at least I think he does.  It sure sounds an awful lot like it.  He loves, loves, loves to rock!  He likes to rock so much that at daycare, they can not turn on his swing.  He rocks and it swings and he flies pretty high in the air.  He would be able to sit up by himself, but he rocks too much.  So, he falls back.  He is a sweet blessing!  I have thoroughly enjoyed these first six months!

Hot!

Well, it is that time of year when we start to see some much warmer days.  It's not officially hot yet, but the cars get pretty hot inside.  Today, Ayden, Sutton, and I went to work at school for a while.   When we got ready to leave, it was pretty hot in the car - about 82 degrees.  Ayden immediately started whining that it was too hot in the back of the car.  He was hollering for me to turn up the cold air.  I told him that it was on and he just had to be patient.  It would cool off as quickly as possible.  He then told me that he just did not know how long he could wait.  His eyeballs were already melting!

I don't know where he comes up with this stuff.

Luckily the car cooled off, and yes Ayden still has eyeballs!!  Silly kid!  You've just got to love him!
