Twas The Night Before Christmas...

Tradition:  reading The Night Before Christmas

Night, Night!
Sutton loves his big brothers!

Santa Came!!

Cordell and Ayden came running into our bedroom at 10:30, saying "Wake up!  It's Christmas!"
We sent them back to bed until morning.
I bet this was the longest night of their lives!

A New Tradition

Family Memories Being Made...
When I was a little girl, we had a gumdrop tree.  I had totally forgotten about it.  The other day someone posted a picture of one on facebook.  As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have one for my kids.  A sweet lady that worked at the bank with my mom brought me one the very next day.  So a new family tradition begins with my kiddos...the gumdrop tree!

Everyone is working hard.

When you see this next picture, you are going to think that Sutton is putting a gumdrop on the tree.

It is actually more likely that he was taking it off.
He ate more gumdrops than he put on!

The finished product:

Watch out gumdrops, here comes Sutton!

Yum!

Never A Dull Moment

Sutton is the biggest monkey of all my kiddos.  He climbs all over the place and gets himself into some crazy situations.

I was working on the computer and looked over to find this.  About that time, there is a knock at the door.  A man was there to work on our garage door, and he needed me to sign the paperwork.  The whole time I was signing it, I could tell he was cutting his eyes over to where my baby was stuffed into the kitchen!  No telling what he thought about us.  Oh well!
There is never a dull moment at our house!

Project Show

Today was the local project show.  Cordell showed a market pig (Oreo) and a breeding goat (Bitsy).  He did a good job.  This is the only picture I got.  Ayden got sick with a stomach virus and had to go home.  He was one disappointed little boy.  He had planned to show in the little britches show again this year.   :(

My little reindeer broke an antler,
but he was still quite a cute reindeer!

Baby Footsies

This morning, I took Sutton over to Granny's house to stay.  He was a sleepy head today, so I scooped him out of bed and left.  When we walked outside to get in the car, he said "baby footsies...cold!"  I love those sweet baby footsies and all the sweet little things my little boy says all the time!

Our Little Monster Birthday

Our sweet little "monster" turned 2 today!

Blow out the candles...

I think he likes his trampoline.
He crawled right up on it and started jumping!

Soccer Comes to a Close

Kick the ball...

He kicks and crashes, and the ball just misses the goal.
Good thing this kid is tough!

Flag Football

Cordell played flag football again this year.  He really enjoyed it.  His games were all at night, and the light was pretty poor.  I just was not able to get any good pictures.  Cordell is number 2, right in the middle of this pack.  Unfortunately, even this picture is blurry.  His team finished the season in 2nd place!

Haloween

This year for Halloween, we had a monster and Batman!
Cordell decided that he was too big this year.  :(
He is growing up too fast.
They all are!

Okay mom, I am done.  Let's go get some candy!

Sutton actually had no idea what this was all about.  At first, when someone tried to put candy in his bucket, he pulled it away.  Pretty quickly though he noticed that it was candy, and he was ready to take anything they had.
