I Could Write A Book
I could write a book. It would be titled, The Adventures of Ayden. The child is a never ending story!
Today is the 3rd day of school. I am exhausted. It is about 5:45, and I am in the kitchen cooking supper. Ayden walks through the room, and says, "I'm going to bed!"
This is the kid that could stay up half the night if you would let him. I was right...kindergarten is exhausting!!!!
Right after school, I was talking to Ayden. I asked him about lunch. He said, "That lady made cake, but she wouldn't let me have any because I brought my lunch!"
He had to go through the line to get a milk to go with his lunch that I had packed him. He spotted cake that they were getting on their trays and wanted some. (He is definately my kid!) They won't let them get anything but milk if they bring their lunch. It is just funny that his perspective is that one lady made that cake, and she is not letting him have any!
Well that's it for today. Stay tuned for tomorrow's adventures!

First Day of School
First Day of School 2011
Ayden was talking about how several of his friends were in other classes. We discussed that he would see them on the playground, but that he would also make new friends in his class. He looked at me, and said, "I'll have lot's of friends...I'm bringing the cupcakes!" Guess it's good to have a birthday at the beginning of school!
At the end of the day today, we were sitting outside waiting for the parents to pick up their kids. I hear this conversation from Ayden and one of his friends that is in my class.
A: Is my mom a good teacher?
Friend: Yeah!
He's just checking up on me!

Happy Birthday Big 6 Year Old
Today we had a birthday party for Mr. Ayden, our big 6 year old. We had hotdogs, cupcakes, and presents. He got a hot wheels set, monster truck, remote control 3 wheeler, Spongebob Legos, a camera, sweatbands, a water gun, and some money! We are going to let him have his first friend party, but we decided to wait a few weeks after school starts. That means more pictures in a few weeks!

Super Heroes
Ayden - not so much!
Sutton either!
I think he is a Super Hero and banana apple sauce is his super power (kind of like Popeye and his spinach)!

A Solution To A Problem
One of Sutton's favorite things to eat is english peas. They are just so hard to get on a fork though. Tonight, he finally gave up. He would pick up some peas with his hands, toss them in his mouth, and then stick his fork in his mouth. Sounds like a good plan to me!
