Sutton's "New" Bed

Sutton got in this terrible habit of crawling on the top rail of his baby bed and lounging up there like a little lizard.  It scared me that he was going to fall off on his head.  We decided that it was time to convert to the toddler bed.  He loves his new bed, as long as I don't try to make him go to sleep in it!

Of course, this is what he does best...climb out of there!!

He actually does sleep in there, as long as I rock him to sleep first.

No, He Bite Me!

Sutton has this lift a flap book where baby looks for the animals.  He loves to read it.  As you read through the book, he lifts the flaps to find oo, oo monkey, hooting owl, etc.  Sutton loves to lift the flaps and find the animals!  Until....you get to rattley snake.  It reads, baby can't find rattley snake, can you?  Sutton will pull his little hands back and refuse to open the flap, saying, "No, he bite me!"

Another Chapter In The Book Of Ayden

Time to add another chapter to the Book of Ayden! 

Today when we got in the car, Ayden was so excited that they got to check out books  in the library.  He was telling me all about the book that he had chosen...Froggy Gets Dressed Up.  He asked me if I would help him read it, because Mrs. Hicks had not taught them to read yet!  I laughed and asked him, "What have ya'll been doing in there?"  Ayden replied, "I don't know, but I'm gonna remind her on Tuesday!" 
All my kinders are already reading.  I mean gosh, it's been 10 days.  Ha ha!!
