My handsome little blue eyed man will be turning 8 months old later this week. He is the happiest little guy! He is getting so big. As you can see, he still has no teeth. He is trying to crawl, but still continues to just scoot backwards. It won't be long though. I keep telling the boys...soon he will be into everything!!

Blake was mowing the grass last night. Ayden loves to help. Since he is not big enough to mow, he came up with another way to help out. Our lawnmower has been in the shop, so the grass got a bit tall. There was a lot of grass piling up on the driveway. I looked out there, and this is what I saw...
These pictures were taken with my iphone, so they are a little bit grainy.
I had to share them anyways, because they were just too cute!

Are You Trying To Poison Me?
The other day at Target, I found this neat little contraption. It is a mesh container that you can put food in for babies. Then they can eat real food without the fear of choking. I was very excited to try it! I got a banana and put it inside. Then I gave it to Sutton.
Here it goes...
All I can say is that he was less than impressed. He was so funny though. He kept trying it. I guess he thought it would get better, but everytime before he would even put it in his mouth, he would make this terrible face, squishing up his eyes and shaking his head.
Swimming Lessons Continued
THe boys are getting braver as the week goes by at swimming lessons.
Ayden might still be a little bit nervous. Look at the way his toes are curling around the end of the diving board - reminds me of a cat trying to hang on! Of course, he is not going to let anyone outdo him, so he is going off.
The Other Side of the World
As we were driving down the road today, Ayden and I had this conversation.
A: Mom, did you know that on the other side of the world it is night?
M: Yes
A: Does grandma live on the other side of the world?
She only lives in Georgetown, which is 2 hours away. I know when we drive there, it seems like forever to the kids. I love to see things through a child's eyes.

Aydenbug
Aydenbug made this bug hat at preschool this week. He looked really cute in it! It was just so bright outside, that he could not even open his eyes for a picture.
Okay, in the house I can get eyes!

Goodbye Training Wheels
The time has come...
Ayden has been begging his daddy to take them off for a long time.
We finally decided to go ahead.
He was so excited!
I was so nervous!
Everything was great until it was time to turn...Yikes!
After a few crashes, he was quite discouraged. I went and picked him up, picked the grass out of his hair, and told him that he might want to take a rest. He said, "I am going to take a rest, but I am gonna ride my bike back up to the house first."
You've got to love his determination!!

Summertime
Well today it is officially....
School is out! It is hot (definitely very hot) outside! Time to relax, sleep late, and just enjoy those lazy days of summer, right?
But I wouldn't want it any other way. I so enjoy spending time with my kiddos!

Well, not exactly! It means 7 on 7 football, summer basketball, swimming lessons, community rehab, summer workshops, and a whole lot more.

Father's Day
I've been saving these images for a little while. I have been dying to share them. I have trouble keeping them to myself. I had to wait though, because I had taken them for a father's day collage that the boys gave Lyndell. I just love the first one of their feet! It took a whole lot of shots before Sutton actually kicked his feet up just right and you could see the letters on his feet. I also love the look on Ayden's face - typical Ayden! Blake refused to be a part of the feet picture. He is getting too old for the cutesy stuff. I loved the picture of them all together too. They are true brothers - they fight, pester and pick on each other, and generally just get on each other's nerves. However, when it comes down to it, they are best friends! They would be lost without each other. I love my boys, and we all love you daddy!
Happy Father's Day!
