Christmas Musical at Church
Cordell is the first chicken from the left. Ayden is the third star from the left (with the green sleeves).
Cordell singing his solo, "What Child Is This."
He did an awesome job and was not even nervous.
I am so proud of him!
My favorite chicken and star after their big performance.

Local Stock Show
Today was the local project show. Blake was in a basketball tournament, so he did not show. This was Cordell's first year to show. He was so excited. He did excellent for his first go round.
First was the pig show. Cordell showed Gloria. He got 3rd place in his class. Gloria was frisky when she entered the ring. You could see pure delight in her face! She bounded across the ring with Cordell coming quickly behind her. Then she found something that interested her in the shavings. She dug her nose around, flopped down, and rolled around in it. I have heard the saying, happy as a pig in mud. Well, Gloria was happy as a pig in shavings! Cordell finally got her up and moving again. Then she bounded into him and knocked him down. He took it all in good stride. The judge asked him if his pig's name was Digger.
So here they are - Cordell and Gloria, a.k.a. Digger!
Ayden also showed Gloria in the Little Britches Pig Showmanship. They came out with a blue ribbon!
Next up was the goat show, starting off with the breeding goats. Cordell showed Bitsy. Together they won their class and came away with a plaque for Reserve Champion Breeding Meat Goat!
Then it was Perry's turn. He took 3rd place in his class. Cordell went back to the ring with Perry for the Junior Showmanship round. They did excellent!
Cordell ended the day with 2 third place ribbons, a first place ribbon, and a Reserve Grand Champion Breeding Goat plaque! Way to go!!

A Thanksgiving Feast
Ayden had a Thanksgiving program and feast tonight at Mrs. Shelley's Rainbow Dreams Preschool. They sang songs like Gray Squirrel, Shake Your Bushy Tail and Hello Mr. Turkey, How Are You. He did a great job. They were all so cute!
Each child brought their favorite food for the feast.
Ayden chose chocolate chip cookies.
Ayden's feast consisted of chicken fingers, pizza, a ham and cheese sandwich, and a chocolate chip cookie (or maybe 2!).
Ayden was so proud of his cookies.
He was encouraging everyone to eat the cookies that he made.
Sutton At Play
Sutton at play...
One of his favorite things to play with is the play kitchen. He loves to open and close the doors, bang the pans around, and even "taste" the play food. His favorite is the pickle. He will crawl around with that little plastic pickle hanging out of his mouth.
Look at this face!
Funny!! I guess even a plastic pickle is sour!
That one little tooth that he has is really shining now.
It is still all alone. I was discussing this with another parent the other day. We have come to the conclusion that you either get teeth or hair. You can't have both. Ha! Ha! He sure does have great hair, and it is a bit wavy. He is my first little curly hair boy!
Love, love, love him!!

One Year Checkup
Sutton went for his one year checkup this week with Dr. Miller. He now weighs 22 pounds 8 ounces and is 29 1/2 inches long. He sure has grown from that little 8 pound 8.6 ounce and 20 inch long baby boy.
He is now crawling very fast and cruising around the furniture. He does not have any desire to really walk yet. That is okay with me. Since he is the last baby, I am not in any hurry for him to grow up.
He is now down to only a bottle at night. He is drinking whole milk from a cup. He much prefers table food to any of the baby food. He loves ice cream, yogurt, and chicken and rice. These are his current favorites.
He says momma, daddy, bubba, uh-oh, and uh uh. He clicks his tongue. I am afraid he may be a climber. He tries to climb already. I have found him several times up on things.
He loves his bubbas! Ayden is the entertainment. Cordell is the caretaker. Blake is just fun. They are great with their little brother!

Smash Cake - Take Two
Since Sutton was not overly excited with his cake at his birthday party, we saved it for the next day. So here it is...Take Two on the Smash Cake!!
Sutton woke up very happy and well rested. He loves his new toys!
It was not a great time for pictures. The sun was way too bright, but I sometimes have to step back and remember that we can't do everything for the perfect picture. We just let him enjoy his cake!!
